Savvy Signing

Savvy Gourmet, the Uptown destination for all things foodie (kitchen store, culinary school, caterer, etc.), was among the first wave of new businesses to emerge after Katrina struck. It opened so early, in fact, that its owners hosted “devacuation parties,” described in my book, to welcome the stunned but hopeful first returning residents back home. Three years later, I’m honored to have a book signing under its roof. If kitchen items and books are on your holiday shopping list, consider this a double play.
